After 21 years of practicing in Morrow, and 25 years practicing on the Southside of Atlanta, we are excited to announce what will be Dr. Henry’s final practice location. In late spring 2010, we will be moving to a suite in the beautiful new Henry Towers Building in Hapeville, overlooking Atlanta’s Hartsfield International Airport.
The Dream
Ever since traveling extensively in Latin America, Dr. Henry has been enamored of the Spanish Colonial style of architecture. Working with architects, his dream of a dental office built around a courtyard is realized in the Henry Towers Building. Patient treatment rooms will overlook a private courtyard. Plenty of space is allotted for patient comfort, including private patient consult and educational areas.
The History
Dr. Henry moved to this Hapeville neighborhood in 1961. His childhood home was on Georgia Avenue, about three blocks from our new office. College Street Elementary School (now condominiums) was just two blocks away. Dr. Henry practiced organ at Hapeville First Baptist Church, whose steeple is visible from our new office. As a child, Dr. Henry even remembers trick-or-treating at the house originally standing on his office site, where the owner gave children delicious homemade popcorn balls!
